Description
It wasn't more then a couple of hours before Clockwork and Danny returned where they were filled in on the current plan, looking over the mornings findings, they decided to split off with Twilight, rarity, Maddie, Jack and Jazz searching the neighboring town while the others check out the mountain pass nearby.
"any idea what we're looking for?" Applejack asked as they begun their track up the side of the mountain pass
"anything that can give us an idea of whats going on would be a great start" Sam stated.
getting further up the mountain nothing seemed to stand out, strange, this morning there was talk of unusual activity up here. after crossing onto another path they continued on until they suddenly started to feel rumbling, and as quick as it started rocks began rolling down the mountain causing everyone to dodge out the way.
"what in tarnation?!"
Suddenly they caught sound of laughter looking up to see a dark grey Pegasus with straw colour hair and the number 13 in his flank,
"Johnny?!" Danny Stepped forward once the path was safe again "what are you doing?!
"what does it look like, i'm having fun and nothings more fun then causing bad luck and scaring others"
"whe're the others?!" Sam called out
"the heck if i know, look i don't give one damn what the others are planning i only care about fun and i'm not gonna let you lot ruin it for me, SHADOW ATTACK!"
With the wave of his hoof another entity seemed to appear out from him only this one was pitch black save his bright piercing eyes, after darting past the other he disappeared into the rock wall behind them causing boulders to fall and block off their route. straight after he darted into the ground which started an earthquake followed by boulders and rocks being launched from the ground and Johnny making a swift getaway.
"RUN!"
Rushing forwards everyone was dodging and weaving to avoid the falling rocks their troubles only got worse as the spotting the cliff edge ahead. getting her speed up Rainbow Dash took off grabbing applejack with her while Fluttershy grabbed Sam and Tucker and flying them to safety on the other side of the cliff, meanwhile Pinkie Pie did one of her usual insane jumps clearing the gap, this left Danny and Clockwork charging towards the cliff edge. Rainbow tried to go back to get them only to find the falling rocks obstructing any attempt to dive in.
With one last look they jumped off the cliffside much to the horror of the others watching, each scrambling to the edge to try and see them only to spot a bright light. as soon as the light dimmed two figures suddenly wooshed upwards into the sky, once their eyes adjusted to the bright sky behind the suddenly spotted Clockwork flying......wait...FLYING?! and since when did Danny turn into a pegasus?!
Sam and Tucker while surprised happily welcomed the sight of Danny's ghost form while the others were Jaw dropped, as the two landed all they could make out were shocked splutters until finally Applejack shook the shock away,
"wait.....what?! Your an Alicorn?! why didn't you tell us?!"
"you didn't ask, you all just assumed i was a unicorn..."
"and you" she pointed to Danny "what? how did you just change.....everything?! you changed colour, race....."
Danny slunk back a little, to be honest he was expecting a reaction like that....didn't make it any easier, "look......i'm what you might call.....a halfa...."
"a whata?"
"a halfa.....half boy...half ghost..."
"how is that even possible?"
".....i was in an accident......oh...one more thing....."
"what is it?"
"please don't tell my parents......they don't know about this.....also....they hate ghosts..."

Meanwhile in canterlot castle the sun princess was speaking with a strange unicorn with pure white fur and silver mane tied in a ponytail and a cutiemark of money with a flask" the princess's face was that of worry as she listened to his words, each one twisted yet well played. before he left he turned back smirked,
"can you really trust those who hide important secrets from you?"
She bowed her head slightly eyes shut for a moment..."no" and with that she opened her red slitted eyes.

I'm a little surprised Clockwork didn't see that cliff coming. Although his powers aren't really working at the moment, he said earlier that his foresight was blurred, but I thought that after a full night in this world it would be back to normal. Still I love his line. "You didn't ask. You all just assumed I was a unicorn." Love that line. Clockwork being Clockwork.
