Turning their attention to the door they tried to find a way of opening it, no good, it was sealed shut, Ratchet even tried using his electromagnets on it but still nothing, Prowl then had an idea, after telling everyone to stand back he picked up a long pole and dipped it in the acid, he then quickly placed the acid on the door and watched the acid dissolve the metal however the acid was taking time, time they didn’t have, Prowl put a little more on making the hole big enough for Bee to safely climb through without touching the acid himself, he was to try and rescue the hostages while the others tried to break the door down of make the hole big enough for them to get through. Unaware if they had raised any awareness Bumblebee moved in the shadows to the cage where the hostages were, as thought the chief had in fact also been taken hostage and wasn’t all to pleased with having a robot save him but what choice did he have, however before Bumblebee could get them out a fist seemed to appear out of nowhere and strike him sending him across the room, getting to his feet Bumblebee saw it was colossus who had hit him, Bee quickly tried to dodged another hit but another was ready to hit sending him into a wall with a yelp, the others  heard the yelp and became concerned, they tried to move faster to get the hole big enough but found the acid was now working on the thicker areas of the door. Bumblebee had pulled himself back up and was now trying to keep out of his reach, he had quickly realized Colossus was stronger then last time and unfortunately he had run himself into a corner, with no possible way out he closed his optics and waited for the hit that never came, when he reopened his optics he saw that Optimus and Prowl had jumped in and punched Colossus out of the way, it took Bumblebee a couple of seconds to come out of lock and process what had just happened and he realized that he had been scared and shown it. He looked at the others fighting colossus and turned his attention back to the hostages but just when things couldn’t get worse they did, Meltdown came out,
“Slag!”
Was all Bumblebee was able to say before dodging acid attacks, he wasn’t about to call for help, he was going to prove himself today as he narrowly missed another lump of acid, just then he had an idea, he lured Meltdown towards the hostages and right at the last moment he dodged out of the way and the acid landed on the bars of the cage, he shot at Meltdown sending him back and just like he planned the acid burned the metal bars freeing the hostages, Meltdown got back up and started attacking again, Bumblebee urged the two to take cover as he started frantically dodging again, however one shot went off course and straight for the chief, Bumblebee made one last dive managing to save both the chief an himself, however what Bumblebee didn’t know was that it was a trap, a metal support beam had been weakened to the point of falling, Bumblebee tried to get away but couldn’t clear the beam in time as it slammed down on his leg, the chief just stood there stunned as he watched the small bot close his optics and try to hold the pain in, he couldn’t believe it, this bot just saved his life. Bumblebee tried to get the huge beam off his leg when he noticed Meltdown casually walking up to him with a smug grin on his face and a lump of acid in each hand, the chief pulled out his pistol and shot a couple of rounds at him only to find the bullets had minimal effect on him, by this time Bumblebee was able to get the beam off and winced as he dragged himself to his feet, he kept thinking to himself ‘I’m not weak, I can do this’ he wanted to prove that the ‘weakness’ he had shown before was something he could make up for, he was tired of always being ‘rescued’ whether it was by one of the others or by Sari’s key. He wanted to show that he can stand on equal grounds with the others despite his size, to get respect from the others, but most of all, to make his dad proud of him, little did he know he had already done that.
He pulled out his own weapon and wildly fired at Meltdown, no use, he fired another lump at Bumblebee getting a direct hit, Bumblebee flew backwards into a wall as he let out another yelp while clinging to the new wound on his chest, this yelp was enough to Prow and Bulkhead’s attention as they diverted from fighting Colossus to go and help Bumblebee, Bumblebee got up again and went straight for Meltdown while Prowl got behind him and Bulkhead came in from the side, ignoring any pain that seemed to echo throughout his body Bumblebee pulled off an impressive stunt by swerving the attacks and combining his individual attacks into one big one, this sent Meltdown backwards to Prowl where he was then kicked to Bulkhead who used his maise.
Meanwhile Optimus and Ratchet were trying to stop Colossus who had gone on a rampage, thanks to the previous battle they had with him they knew his weakness but there wasn’t anything loud enough, that is until Ratchet fell into a load of pipes, alone they made a little noise, but together, it was enough to disrupt the electrical pulses which kept him in his massive state. When they turned to see how the others were doing they were surprised to see Bulkhead had been thrown back, and even more so when they saw Prowl had been knocked back into a wall, however what shocked Optimus the most was the state Bumblebee was in, he was quite badly hurt and was still fighting, this sent worry through his processor, Ratchet knew how to stop him, he had built a makeshift force field to hold him but he had to get close enough to use it. Meltdown had grabbed Bumblebee and with his free hand sent a wave of pain through Bumblebee’s wounds by sending acid fragments along the rim of the wound openings, Bumblebee let out a scream of pain as he struggled to free himself but only caused himself more pain, he was becoming weak from loss of energon and could not hope to keep up the struggling much longer, Optimus knew he couldn’t attack without putting Bumblebee’s life in danger but to just stand there and watch him scream and struggle made his spark sink, Meltdown laughed at Bumblebee’s petty attempts to escape but was caught short by something hitting him in the back, he turned to see it was Prowl who had thrown a mecha star in his back, Meltdown just laughed and used his acid to burn the star, he then saw Prowl, Ratchet, Bulkhead and Optimus charge towards him, he threw Bumblebee straight through two old support beams and straight into a third before falling to the ground, Optimus, Prowl and Bulkhead began attacking Meltdown keeping him distracted while Ratchet snuck up from behind and used the makeshift force field to trap Meltdown, Bumblebee slowly tried to pull himself to his feet before hearing a strange rumble, the others heard it too as they looked around and noticed the cracked walls started to break and the ceiling had cracks forming from the base of the broken support beams,
“The place is coming down!”
The chief shouted as he and the mayor tried to find a way out, on the other side of the room a bit of fallen rubble had made a hole in the wall which everyone could use to escape, they had to hurry as beams and rubble were falling and the big multistory warehouse was coming down around them, Ratchet scooped up the two humans while Bulkhead carried Colossus and the force field which held Meltdown, Prowl, Optimus and Bumblebee made a dash for the exit also while trying to dodge the falling rubble, Suddenly a wave of pain shot through Bumblebee as he stepped on his injured leg and he fell to the ground exhausted and in pain. As Optimus turned back to make sure the others were safe he saw Prowl having little trouble avoiding the falling rubble but he couldn’t see Bumblebee, he looked around trying to spot him only to see him on the ground, Optimus stopped and turned back to help him, kneeling down he tried to help Bumblebee get back on his feet but the moment he tried to stand he let out a yelp and fell back down, Optimus quickly realised that Bumblebee was too weak and in too much pain to get out by himself, Optimus carefully picked Bumblebee up and held onto him, Bumblebee held on bu drooping his arms around Optimus's shoulders as he tried to stay concious, Optimus made a run for the opening where the others were calling for him to hurry up, half the room had already been lost to rubble and dust and soot was making seeing where he was even harder, as he closed in on the exit part of the ceiling fell and closed the exit, they were trapped. Optimus could hear the others outside shouting worry and concern about them and although Bumblebee was looking the other way he knew what had happened, he closed his optics and wrapped his arms around Optimus's neck to feel safe even though he knew he wasn't. Optimus knew Bumblebee was scared and he knew they had to find shelter if they were going to survive the building collapsing, he then noticed some generators, the side of one had been damaged, running over he found the casing was reinforced steel, using his free hand he took out the components and turbines and used the casing as a shelter hoping it would be enough to hold the weight of the debris and rubble. Making sure they were right in he sat down and lay Bumblebee close to his body to offer more protection should the worst happen, Bumblebee was shaking and barely concious, he had risked so much to protect the humans, he wasn't going to let Bumblebee go like ths, no, he wasn't going to let Bumblebee go at all, he had already lost so much that he wasn't going to lose the last thing that ment the world to him, he wasn't going to lose his son. He looked to see Bumblebee had shifted a little and was now resting his head on his chest, his arms laying lazily at his sides, he looked out to see and hear everything give way and fall around them, their shelter creaked but held the weight, for a couple of minutes all they heard was the rumble of falling rubble, then, nothing.
